Ooh, will be thinking of you and keeping everything crossed️
Morning all. Lovely day at the seaside and in Cowbridge yesterday with my friend. Here’s a selfie
Had a nice 24 hour unicorn, waiting for it to all go horribly wrong in that wonderful way only T1 has...
Well that was a very strange appointment to say the least!
I have been officially approved for a pump WOOHOOvery happy.
Now got to await an appointment with the pump team (I thought Dr Oboubie was the pump Dr!?) and for an appointment with the DSN (who is the leader of the pump team!) and an appointment with the dietitian....so the start of another journey into type 1 is beginning
On the subject of pumps... I seem to have a little infection on an old (maybe a fortnight) site. Red lump, a little warm, that leaks pus when I stick a sterile needle in it. Trying to get hold of someone to give me advice and maybe antibiotics but as it’s lunchtime, I’ve got two hopes - Bob and no.
Any advice? Sugars are good.

goodluck porl69 xTotally agree.
Well done to a 4.4...alarmed at 4.30 to a 3.4 grrr.
Today's the day I find out of the pump Dr if I am going on a pump. Appointment at 10am. Nervous to say the least
Thanks chaps, I rang the GP who said there were no emergency appointments today, and the diabetes nurse was doing baby clinic and couldn’t issue prescriptions anyway - and to ring the pharmacy. Who couldn’t help. So I rang the DSN/pump lady at the hospital, who phoned my GP surgery and I have to be there for 5.
Tl;dr - I’m going to the doctor in a minute
up and down like a brides nightieI like the "short of a..." sayings.
One brick short of a load
A sandwich short of the filling
A toolbox short of a spanner
A few cards short of a deck
A few fries short of a Happy Meal
...
I just spat out my tea then MelAll good here, no sepsis although there are signs of the infection tracking. I have antibiotic horse pills for a week that are so large I’m not sure whether to swallow them or insert them where the sun doesn’t shine. And I don’t mean Port Talbot
As good as the ancient Egyptians!!
But did they test their urine ??In days of old when knights were bold and toilets weren't invented
They did their load in the middle of the road and walked away contented..........
