Looks fabulous! Especially with yesterday’s weather. A little concerned with how stone like you are becoming.
 

Excellent news, hope its not too long till you get your pump.

I have my meeting with pump clinic doctor next Tuesday at 10.30, so be interesting to see how that goes
 
Woke to about same BG this morning as I did yestrday. I have done the exact same things today as i did yesterday. Taken the same amount of insulin. Ate the same food, at same time. Yesterday lunch reading was 10.6 and todays was 5.4
 
On the subject of pumps... I seem to have a little infection on an old (maybe a fortnight) site. Red lump, a little warm, that leaks pus when I stick a sterile needle in it. Trying to get hold of someone to give me advice and maybe antibiotics but as it’s lunchtime, I’ve got two hopes - Bob and no.

Any advice? Sugars are good.
 

I'd get it checked locally, GP or chemist.

There's a little thread here about infections and pumps, there may be more useful ones though, that was just a random selection

@Mel dCP Agree with above if you cant get to see the local Quack go to the pharmacists and see the local shaman.

Also you have Purple Doc's might have to get another pair

HMMM well I have had another morning battling a massive spike, so much for Etch A Sketch as I have about 4 different measuring devices and they all bloody differ ~sigh~ back to the drawing board

Thanks chaps, I rang the GP who said there were no emergency appointments today, and the diabetes nurse was doing baby clinic and couldn’t issue prescriptions anyway - and to ring the pharmacy. Who couldn’t help. So I rang the DSN/pump lady at the hospital, who phoned my GP surgery and I have to be there for 5.

Tl;dr - I’m going to the doctor in a minute
 

No wonder you got that volunteer ambulance thingy job.
 
All good here, no sepsis although there are signs of the infection tracking. I have antibiotic horse pills for a week that are so large I’m not sure whether to swallow them or insert them where the sun doesn’t shine. And I don’t mean Port Talbot

Time for a rant, again.Sunday afternoon to Sunday bedtime BG were goodish at around 6, just before bed it was 6.5. Woke to a 10.6. Monday was goodish most of day and went to bed on 5.7 but woke to a 9.6. Dawn phenomenon??.

Yesterday was good most of day except after dinner where instead of staying flatish around 6 it rose to 10.1 just before bed.

Now I have eaten same amount of carbs at same times, taken the relevant dose of insulin, with corrections where necessary. Done the same things, sod all apart from sit at a computer.

So to bed last night on a 10.1, what will it be in morning 13 maybe 14. Of course not, it dropped to 8.7 then 6.1 then 4.7 just before I got up at 6.30. At 6.45 its 6.3????

As I am due a visit to pump clinic next week, to assess my need for a pump, I have deliberately not been taking extra correction doses outwith meal times. Now if I had taken a correction dose last night that would have really sent me to hypo land.

So a question to those with a pump, would the pump really make a difference if my BG are so unpredictable.

No wonder we type 1's can get stressed so much
