Can you tell it’s the school holidays?

Bloods horrible at 10.8, had to correct a mild hypo earlier so I could drive, and my liver decided to help out. Ugh. Going to be one of those days....

Depends on my hypo reading, but I like a small yogurt, or a sweet, or a biscuit, sit, wait, test, if it hasn't gone up enough, then Tesco or Morrison's, Prawn and Banana sweets, can't eat J C's.

Love that Mel. Methinks I will be doing that as well

I chose What's it all about Alfie, for my dear ole dad, also I belong to Glasgow, dear ole Glasgow town and ended on Vera Lynn's, We'll meet again, which we will, one day <3

One of the songs I would like is Avicii, Hey Brother, as my 'goodbye' I want everyone to really clap and cheer and to bring the house down in the instrumental part, I would like them to have a smile and to smile at each other and I hope it will be a celebrationary moment, not sad or depressing .................

I cut my grass this morning, tidied the garden up, weeded and put a new little wooden border around my large tub on the front garden, very busy and productive this morning and did over 10,000 steps too

I have been enjoying all the funeral songs and stories!

Change of plan for the evening, plus a return of physical energy has had me starting the holiday time Big Cleaning Session. - two rooms are looking significantly cleaner, as are their windows and net curtains. and also some cutting of grass has taken place, with the assistance of a visiting neighbour's child. (She's great at supervising me, and also helping put things away afterwards.)

Also bagged up some clothes/books/DVDs for the charity shops.

Blood sugars have behaved beautifully. Chips may be beckoning...

To all those that thought I was optimistic......came home to find front lawns mowed, dinner ready(just!) and she’s now doing the washing up! (So I can do the back lawn)........I’m living the dream!

I love it!

Just needs a nativity scene made from used needles & test strips. Candle holders out of old upturned Libre sensors & that's Christmas wrapped up...

You can call Shep back into the living room now....

Jeesh, Mel, although I admire the artistry, be careful it doesn't accidentally fall out of yr handbag in a public area - with all those unusual bottles and wires, someone's going to call it in as an IED!

Watching Day of the Triffids, 1962, now on Talking pictures, so I will say goodnight now, sleep well zzzzzzzzzzzz

Good morning my lovelies - long day at work for me but I'm hoping to reach the final accounts stage with the current set of books. I live in hope! And - let us not forget - Friday is a Extra Day Off Work!! I must sort out some ideas of things we can do. I know that I want to nip to two towns near us - one has a mahoosive Asda and the other is one of those scoop up the food out of big bins and into a paper bag type shops. Sells an amazing assortment of stuff that is of huge interest to a food loving vegan.

Stay well and stay happy

Meant to say - the coffee this morning is perfect. Fresh made, very strong, black no sweetener - just oodles of fresh coffee flavour. Is there a drooling emoji?

Now that was one we definitely missed from the weekend's review of oldies but goodies!

Back then, so many of the female actor's screamed a lot when scared and become hysterical, nowadays they can kick a*s, but I did like that remake.
Invasion of the Body snatcher's, is another oldie, but one of my favourites is The day the Earth stood still, loved Michael Rennie as Klaatu, for 1951 this is a cracking golden oldie

No kettle ..........sacrebleu
Have a safe flight home
