When left to go stale (I know - impossible!) do they go hard or soft? Hard = cake
Soft = biscuits

Can this foodstuff be dunked?
Will the stand up to stress
Are these apocalypse proof
Or will it mess with digestion
sludge up the cup & arrest the beverage
liquid consistency retention

The ultimate question...

I'm afraid I no longer like scones. My favourites used to be M&S but since being diagnosed coeliac, I haven't tasted a scone that I have enjoyed (not even M&S!)

Oh and it's scone as in gone!

Scone rhymes with gone.

Also, I have NEWS! Subject to references, occupational health and all the usual cats, I’m going back to university in September to train to be a paramedic

Fantastic!

Been really busy since yesterday morning, just catching up and @Cumberland hope you've recovered from a horrid day, @Mel dCP that's fantastic! And of course scone rhymes with cone...and the jam goes on before the cream....think I might dream about them now, happy dreams everyone

Been more mobile today thanks

Congratulations, @Mel dCP !! Is that provisional on you being able to wear a purple uniform once graduated ??

Good morning on Good Friday

I have spotted an Easter Egg lurking in a wardrobe upstairs - I think it might be for me (excited)

What are you all doing today?

It’s a blue sky bright sunny morning

Hope the sun shines bright for everyone

@Mel dCP - that's fantastic, and you have my total admiration! Brilliant stuff.

Long weekend - started with a lie-in to dogs let me sleep in until 7.30 a.m. Whoa....

I had some blissful moments with a small bar of very dark, vegan chocolate last night. Comfort food but trust me, I've needed it this week. Still in something of a confused dilemma but trusting that I'll find my way forward somehow.

Blood, however, was at a stunning 5 this morning. Total guesswork with the bolus for the choc but I guess it's a skill born of long practice

Hi and good morning, thanks so much for your input. When the DSN put it in my arm, it was so itchy and it felt weird too, but after a little while, no more itching. I used it a lot yesterday, especially as i had a late afternoon 4.4, so had a biscuit, but early evening, until about 9pm, more hypos's. It was because I did over 28, 000 Fitbit steps yesterday, my highest ever, plus when I walked back, and after a cupp,a i decided to make the Blueberry scones, so went shopping on the way home, plus made dinner for someone, so on my feet for most of the day
I slept well with it on ( but awoke on a big high, so corrected and I won't be having any breakfast) I love the simplicity on it giving my fingers a bit of a rest, but still finger pricked as well, to double check.
I will be sad when I have to give it back in two weeks time,I love it, but I know it will be so beneficial to someone else.
Happy Easter @smc4761
