Type 2 after 1 year

I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes december 2022 39 years old with a hba1c result of 120 was put on metformin and gliclazide, also high blood pressure and high cholesterol given ramipril and atorvastatin, taken a blood test this year in September 9 months later hba1c now 40, cholesterol back to normal but creatinine levels which were normal before now have dropped low out of range, anyone else had this problem I've fixed up my diet lost about 21kg in 10 months previously weighed 118kg now 97kg, my gp is not giving me answers when asked about reducing medication just telling me to eat a fruit or some sugar if my blood sugar drops too much so I've stopped taking gliclazide and atorvastatin myself, I get a reading of 4.2-5.2 in the morning.
