Type 2 and Aloe Vera Gel

Question for you all. Has anybody used aloe vera gel, along with their medications (especially metformin, gliclazide and simvostatins)? If yes, have there been any negative side-effects?

I do Metformin and Glicacide and have used Aloe Vera Gel for for that itch the us T2 gents get. Anyway no ill effects.

Thanks wellwell1212. I certainly know what you mean about the itch that a gent gets (makes me look like an over enthusiastic italian waiter apparantly!!!). My 23st, non-diabetic (and where's the justice in that!!) friend swears by it. Makes him feel better all over, especially on the inside!

I have been using the aloe gel from a company called forever. It's a bit more expensive than the offers from health shops but it is more concentrated and lmdo feel better when taking it.

If it makes you feel any better in the justice department My 23st used to be 27st friend has been T2 for over 15 years now.

But he has lost a lot of weight and is giving it his best effort.
