Have read on some forums that taking cinnamon tablets help to stabile or even reduce glucose levels.
Anyone with any experience of this or any opinions?

Thanks

I have cinnamon on my porridge every day and my last hba1c was 41 but that is just my experience try it for yourself.

I was adding cinnamon to everything, partly cos I like the taste and partly cos I read the same, but recently read it has to be a certain type of cinnamon (cassia? Something like that...) to help with blood sugars... I've not managed to get my hands on that specific one but if you're thinking of trying it you might like to make sure it's that one...

Hello Kenbro ,
YES , Cinnamon definitely works for me .... I have tried it , and take a table spoon full a day , pop it in my mouth , and swill it round with coffee .........Don't breath the powder in though ! lol you could add it to food , probably a better idea, Apparently it mimics insulin .......
I get the cinnamon from Tesco ,( in the spice isle !)the Swartz brand, as its the same as the capsules . good quality! at around £2.50
Holland and Barratt were £16 a pack !!!!
I am on a diet only type 2 .........
Blood glucose levels were better after a few weeks I noticed after taking it .
Turmeric is another spice that may work .....
Good luck
