@serendipity,Hello
Ive been diagnosed type 2 since 2011 and on Insulin and tablets.
Just having a review at the Hospital and the Dr has decided I should attend the Daphne? course?
He said this will be a week long course and I'll need to Inject 4 times a day!
Doe's this mean I am now type 1???
Very confused

@serendipity,
DAFNE is normally a T1 only course as I recall and most areas don't allow T2s on. Are you sure it is DAFNE and not a DAFNE types course like "XPERT insulin"? might be an idea to check with hospital :
1) Diagnosis
&
2) Actual course
I was just about to link to this where the DAFNE page says that the course isn't appropriate for people with T2
Sorry, Multiple Daily Injections.What doe's MDI stannd for please?
Good luck with the course then! Hope you enjoy it.Hello Yes its definately Dafne, received a phone call from the Nurse on Thursday asking me to come in to see her today which I did.
I have been given Levermir and Novorapid that I will start with the week long course on Monday.
