type 2 diabetes.. plz answer

Does anyone with type 2 diabetes suffer or did at first with severe bloatedness:( i am sooo bloated.Was only diagnosed 3 weeks ago.. is it the insulin ?
 
Insulin is a steroid, body builders use it as its difficult to detect so it doesn't help in the all important reducing weight, its possible the insulin could make you swell up is it worse just after taking it?
