Ahhh, but there we have the crux don't we? the misconception Atkins et al are high protein. However, as the fact it was mentioned and stated as fact, then I am sure I have a right to question that?

I have kidney problems since before i was diagnosed as T2

Can someone tell me what constitutes a high-protein diet please? I am sort of low-ish carbing, but havent increased my protein intake, just increased my fats a bit (butter, lard, leaving the fat on meat, whole fat cheese intsead of low-fat)
 
Mark, speak with your doctor who will advise you on how to adapt your diet.
