Hi.

I have had T2 for about 20yrs, and in the last year my left foot is going numb. It feels like I have a something stuck to the bottom of my foot. Also just above the ankle it feels like there is something tied very tightly around it.

Explained this to doc who wasn't overly interested, just said "keep an eye on it".

Anyone got the same feeling??

Worth checking out in case it's neuropathy. Can you ask to see the diabetic podiatrist they test by gently using a monofilament to judge sensitivity. I have neuropathy and use alpha lipoic acid which I believe helps. Good luck, it's your body not your doctor's.
