I have nagging right rib pain and also have had lower right back pain, is this related! The pain in my back has been ther is diagnosis. Any advice be great

There are a lot of possibilities as to the cause of your pain.
Nobody here can diagnose and it may not be diabetes related. Could be something simple like pulled muscles.

My GP doesn't really pay much attention to it. Just says keep weight down and drink water
