ive had a very stressfull few months
was put on 50mg sertraline about 4 months ago
2 weeks ago after a very stressful traumatic few days i was increased to 100mg
ive started noticing a feeling of shaking sweating and feeling off and tested sugars and they have been low 4 high 3
does sertraline effect blood sugars
i take 2 metformin a day
my diet has also been right off plan with a few days of eating total ****

thanks for that
i will call drs monday and hopefully can either be seen or have a call back
i need the sertraline at the moment so i might just stop the metformin and see what happens in the meantime
Licklemoose - Only you can decide how to handle the next couple of days, until you can catch up with your Doc, but one comment I will make is that Metformin works by building up in your system to reach a therapeutic level. It doesn't work on a dose by dose basis, so if you leave it off, it could take several days before you see any impact.

To be balanced, there a minority who do notice things on a day to day basis, but they are less usual.
