Hi Walnut_face, it's the effort for exertion that is slowing me down, protein intake is still quite high (not enough for any glucose conversion tho!). I think it's more that my carb levels now are pretty low, and I havent had enough time to adapt for fat as fuel so much. Will have a play with carbs around my exercise window (pre/post) armed with my glucose meter and see what happens.Protein is your friend for weights
