i understood thatk the mechanism behind the reversal is the rapid reduction in body fat to a healthy level from an unhealthy level, if you have already reached that level not sure how that would work. Be interested to hear how that goes.

nope sorry mate, youve lost me here, sounds like a bad plan lol you are happy with your weight but your going to drink milkshakes for 2 months and lose weight you dont need to lose to cure an incurable condition? unless im missing something, so you can enjoy eating again to regain the weight?

exercise is a terrible way to lose weight, but a terrific way to get fit and lower your blood glucose levels
as douglas says we all have our own "best" diets, my own favourite is low carbing, basically reducing the amount of carbohydrates you consume, this means reducing your bread, rice, pasta and potatoes along with lots of other foods that contain high levels of carbs but its a massive subject, id suggest reading some forum posts, it will come up alotthere are other options such as the low fat type diets and the portion control diets mediterranian etc etc non of which are right or wrong, it boils down to which will suit you, but id say between us we can suggest a diet that ill suit you
