Type 2 newbie

A week ago, a good friend who is diabetic asked me if I had ever had my blood sugar checked. I said that I had not, so she tested it. Hmmm kinda high. Looking back I have had some of the symptoms of diabetes for years, I had just not connected them. I am glad it has been caught now or I could have gone on for years without knowing. A drastic change of diet and more excercise has brought my level down a bit. I have seen my GP and awaiting test results.
