Hi jennyw1976, Great that you have joined the forum. I like you have only recently been diagnosed 12 weeks ago after feeling particularly unwell with an other chronic condition so never thought that I had type 2 now on metformin and gliclazide for my diabetes I have tried to cut out sugar and feel so much better the fog has lifted. I still have days when I beat myself up about not keeping to strict diet but hey I am human. I have found the information and the tips that people pass on in this forum so much better that any other help I have received. It is also good that your partner is supportive as I know how easy it is to lash out at the person closest to you. I have also to take steroids and at times on an off day my husband of 36 years jokes with me and calls me steroid Annie LOL our way of coping as a team. Remember you are not alone. Take care:cat:
