Type 2 reading seems very low.

I was diagnosed Type 2 in December 2012.I have had trouble today getting enough blood to do a reading.The result was 2.2 what does this mean as not getting any help or support from my GP. I am also very tearful, anxious and hands seem to be very white in colour.This is not normal for me.

Please can anyone advise me.Am I doing anything wrong

2.2 is realy a low reading u could b in for a hypo check it again and if its still that low get some sugar ASAP

My opinion is that if your reading of 2.2 is accurate then you would not be writing on the forum. You would be passed out somewhere.

Does your meter have one of those different heads for the lancet machine. You could use it on your thigh which might be better for you.
