Hi All
I have just signed up here on behalf of my husband. His health issues all began with sleep apnea, this was undiagnosed for many years and led to diabetes type 2. He is now on insulin and also other many other tablets as he had a mini stroke at the beginning of the year. He is quick tempered and my understanding is that erratic blood sugars can cause mood swings? His levels do not seem to have stabilised even with the insulin.
We have problems with our neighbours who live below us. They have 2 young children who seem to have no routine and are still playing at around 11pm most nights and watching kids tv at high volume after this. Usually they are then screaming for around 2 hours because I guess they are told to go to sleep, so we don't get any peace until around 1:30am. We have young children and my husband also starts work early so we are up at 6 most mornings. The longer this goes on the worse his stress levels are and we are not sure where to go for help. Would the GP be any use or is there a better place to go for advice/help?
We rent our home from the council as to our neighbours but to be honest the council are not interested in sorting this at the moment. I was wondering if we had somebody professional to argue our case, if the council would then reconsider and intervene but I am not sure who to contact.
Thanks
