Type 2 - very thirsty at night?

hi, I am type 2 and am on linagliptin and 500g metformin once a day both taken in morning. My BS levels are generally good. However I a have over the last few weeks become increasingly thirsty at night and now wake up frequently to wee and drink more. Tongue tingles and I wake up feeling very dehydrated and usually with a headache. my BS levels are around 5 when I wake through the night and morning wake is about 6. Anyone else experience this or have any ideas about what is going on. Thank you

I'll 'bump' your post up the forum in the hope that you get some replies, however it might be best that you go to your Dr's and mention these symptoms to them.
