just been and seen the doc again and i do have typre 2 diabetes my bg was 8.1 this time and high'ish iron levels at 420 and have been put on simvastatin for high cholesterol it was 8.4 and my liver is not working as it should will find out more after the ultrasound on the 13th
 
Welcome to the gang. Always remember - if you're gonna have something, there are many worse things to have than T2 Diabetes.
 
Liver problems and T2 seem to go hand in hand, I have liver probs as well as T2.

It isn't specifically about Type......it is a problem for any Diabetic, that's the link........
There was a thread here yesterday from a T1 who also thought it was Type specific.

Talking of which here is a link to The British Liver Trust where you will find much information about Liver Diseases of all kinds, symptoms, causes etc.

thank you for the link. how offten do most diet controlled type 2's test them self after the first 6 months. is 4 times a day to much.
