Welcome @Lily and Charlie's mummy and well done, a 10 point reduction is an excellent result
You have just managed to sneak into the pre diabetic range, keep doing whatever it is you've been doing and you could get non diabetic numbers in no time

I agree with @catinahat's post - you are just about pre-diabetic now, so keep on going what you've been doing to get there...
 
That's great, I'm newly diagnosed - may I ask please how you have achieved such a fantastic drop in your HBa1c? And how long did that take? Many thanks and keep up doing whatever it is!
Hi I was diagnosed March with a hbc1a of 54mm and then then June 3 months later I was non diabetic with a hbc1a of 36mm then November it was 35mm I went low carb 50 to 60 carbs aday. Now I have a plant based protein shake with no sugar almond milk for breakfast. Lunch n a salad or sandwich with low carb bread and protein crisps. Tea is meat n veg n gravy or curry cauliflower rice and celeriac chips or fry up. Snacks are fibre one protein bars 10 cal jelly cheese nuts vodka diet pop I can now eat the odd bag of crisps and I exercise every day to.
