Hi I was diagnosed March with a hbc1a of 54mm and then then June 3 months later I was non diabetic with a hbc1a of 36mm then November it was 35mm I went low carb 50 to 60 carbs aday. Now I have a plant based protein shake with no sugar almond milk for breakfast. Lunch n a salad or sandwich with low carb bread and protein crisps. Tea is meat n veg n gravy or curry cauliflower rice and celeriac chips or fry up. Snacks are fibre one protein bars 10 cal jelly cheese nuts vodka diet pop I can now eat the odd bag of crisps and I exercise every day to.That's great, I'm newly diagnosed - may I ask please how you have achieved such a fantastic drop in your HBa1c? And how long did that take? Many thanks and keep up doing whatever it is!
