Hi, I'm a type 2 diabetic, have been for a few years but was diet controlled till about a year ago, been on metformin but it wasn't working for me, then tried linaglyptin& metformin which still isn't reducing my blood sugar enough....
I was referred to a specialist by my GP and the specialist is recommending I get a modified gastric bypass, he believes it will stop me needing any medication for diabetes and also reduce my high blood pressure too....
Has anyone had this done???
I'm really not sure what to do.....
