Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

6.5. I had a long and ****** day yesterday and indulged myself. Hence a higher reading than normal.

Have you got any water retention?
Extra weight can do that. The insulin resistance loves fluid retention.
 
Hi all. 5.5 yesterday and 6.0 today, so getting better after my ice cream excess on Friday.

I've also added back 500mg metformin, as I was concerned about my BS
 
OMG 15.5 this morning
I can't believe it's that high......I really think my pancrease specialist is right that my pancrease is slowing down on producing insulin ???

5.4 once again and could not believe how consistent my fbs has been. I am extremely pleased with my efforts to cut carbs. Thanks to this forum for all the information and support.

Got it back to 7.8 that looks better than when it's in the 8s. Now the trick is to get it down further.
 
5.4, best for a couple of weeks I think, but 1.0 above my earlier averages.
