Type 2's: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning?

Good morning all. I was 6.5 this morning after a bedtime reading of 5.7. Still taking the nightly medication of 100ml of red wine.

6.3 this morning.

9.0 fasting

Fasting reading this morning at 8.30ish: 7.0...

Readings yesterday apart from the fasting one, were one 6.5 and then lowish 7s until a bedtime reading of 5.6 yesterday , and readings are similar today - my internet connection was so embarrassed that it disconnected just as I was starting this post...

But I have an excuse today in that I'm feeling a bit off again, and ended up drinking peppermint tea - my late granny's solution for queasy and upset tums!

I wish, if I'm going to be highish again, that those lovely low reading wouldn't sneakily insert themselves in and give me false hopes.

maybe you mean LCHF, in which case it means Low Carbohydrate High Fat, which is the type of diet followed by many members on this forum.

running a bit late today.... 5.7 this morning, after 5.8 last night.... busy day at work... and home late...

Didn't test this am on early shift and got up a tad late so in a mad rush to get to work

Lchf is low carb higher fat - lots of info on here about it. For me, I totally went cold turkey on bread,rice,pasta, cereals and potatoes, set a daily target of 30gm carbs- probably a bit harsh but it's given me great results!
