Type 2's: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning?

7.3 this morning..... sun not shining as of yet lets hope its gonna be a great day for all
 
6.7 mmol / L this morning.
5.4 mmol / L at bed time.
Bed earlier but, not before midnight. Need more work on sorting out sleep patterns!

7.5!! It's down from 8.7 yesterday!! Had porridge with apple and sultanas for breakfast. See if be down in 2 hours!
 
5.9 this morning - not too bad considering yesterday was particularly car by as I had a works conference with a buffet lunch and went out for dinner in the evening - hopefully back on track today

Well done! If you can it might be an idea to also test at 1hr and 3 hours as well so that you can get a trend as to whether your BS is on its' way up or down
 
5.6 fasting early this morning... better...

An amazing 5.4 considering I had a carb attack last night, kettle crisps, payday bar and a lot more than a handful of Brazil nuts, won't be repeating it just a bad evening.

Keep well and don't follow my example.
Why not? The numbers you have there are better than mine being as good as gold..
 
Another 6.2 this morning - yesterday was a reasonably positive day with no obvious high carbs consumed and a reduction in calories too. Possibly a little high in protein. I walked a couple of miles. Work in progress.
 
Good morning all. I was 5.6 this morning after a 5.6 bedtime reading before I took my red wine medication. Perhaps my liver is still asleep as I'm usually higher in the morning. It's funny that I didn't feel the need to retest after the relatively low reading as I do when I get a higher one than I like !

After I wrote the above I did retest and it was 5.4 !!! I'll settle for the 5.6 though.

5.1 am, after 5.6 last night.... reducing proteins and dairy products a bit, increasing avocado and garlic.... a lot... couple of evening walks over the last couple of nights.... all helps.... be interesting to see where this goes.
