Thanks. I do eat salmon twice a week and also tuna in spring water. I eat a lot of carrots, greens, broccoli, cabbage, peppers, lettuce, tomatoes, beetroot, green beans, sweet corn etc plus bananas, pears, apples. I'm staying away from bread at the moment, and have cut down on rice and pasta. I normally plan my meals and try to get to thecgym two or three times a week.

Just thought, should I be talking about this on this thread, sorry if it's not suitable.

From your list I would think carefully about carrots, beetroot, bananas, pears and apples. And I can only speak for myself but the lasted time I tested after eating any quantity of pasta, rice, bread or potatoes - anything starchy - I wasn't happy with the impact on my BG levels. I would strongly advise you test after meals to find out what foods you should and should not be eating. Of course my concerns might be misguided and you'll be fine - but the message is really, are you sure these foods are OK?
