Type 2's: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning?

Diana - As a matter of interest; have you tried having your main meal at lunchtime, to see if that makes a difference? It might take a couple of days to take effect though.

I'm not advocating you completely change your eating pattern, just an experiment. Maybe when you're not at work?

No I hadn't thought of that. I always have my main meal in the evenings, but I like your suggestion. I shall try that tomorrow and report back ......
