Sounds like you're doing a great job so far and you can do it.....step away from the Carb Festival....it will be worth it to stay off the medication

Seems reasonable in account for the heinous nature of the crimes committed. When's the ban from. Offence committed or offence reported to the carb police?

What do you mean, "seems reasonable"? Pasha means that if you have any more backsliding, within 2 years, you will be liable for the full penalty, and knowing you...
And now Pasha has changed his job. I thought he was a kindly Headmaster.
O tempora, O, mores!

So, @Baruney, and @nomistheman, what date are we agreed on, for the FF?
I've suggested 1st week in August, any good?

So I decided to cut as of today:
-milk (replaced with double cream)
-tapioca GF bread (replaced with nothing:-/)
-continuing zero sweeteners

Intentionally a bit overzealous on cheese and yoghurt, I'll see the results before bed and FBG tomorrow.
Interesting though, coffee with cream doesn't cause the lightheadedness caused by sugar/sweeteners and milk, and after a generous lunch of minced turkey stuffed peppers in tomato broth with big dollop of Greek yogurt, caused a full belly, but no dizziness and tiredness;-)
We'll see:-D

Tuesday 3.7 mmmol/L at 6.15am. Been out all day, and at a concert this evening, then with friends for drinks after.
Just got home, now, at 1.30am Wednesday. BGL now is 4.6mmol/L. Morpheus is calling.

Be well, everyone.

Spare the stick, spoil the child.

Sounds like you had a great day time for some well earned rest

Knew i shouldn`t have had that last bit of porridge in the cupboard for brekkie bg gone from 6.8 to 12.7 in an hour and a self inflicted head ache...Oh why did i do it ?
We all make mistakes @oldman1954 important thing is to learn from that.
I have had some luck with oats recently but mine was a pancake style mixed with a lot of water and veggies, it was like a salty pancake, I did not hate it but did not like it either, so that experiment failed. In terms of bg's they were not that bad as I peaked at 6.2

Hi yes very pleased with those numbers in fact pr dinner was 4.7 and i haven`t seen it that side of 5 for a while and the head aches now i have a better understanding of whats going on its a lot less worry

Jolly good.

I would completely concur with the person suggesting you up the fluids a bit. It's pretty much a miracle I haven't said it to you myself, as that's a message I repeat and repeat, like a broken record. I really do notice it if I don't drink enough. It's not that I get thirsty, but I'm just less sharp all-round, including my mind.

I do tend to drink more just lately at work i get through 2 ltrs in a 8 hour shift thats with out what i drink at home

Hi brettsza, I tried a sort of breads/pancake thing that I made up, using ground almonds, one egg, and a bit of double cream, cooked in a pan. It was nice with mushrooms. I just had some ground almonds left over, so that is what I did. It was so good that I am sure I will make it again.
I can't sleep. Too much music tonight. Sorry to derail.

Any date fine by me.

Well I can take the 72 hour ban on posting blood sugars - didn't even test this morning and yes knowing me knowing you the suspended sentence is indeed hanging over me but better that than the actual world real 'sentence' that would occur by backsliding too much too often!

Hi Mz

I actually make bread with almond flour cheese eggs baking powder flax meal and mix it up and in the oven. Its quite nice

I think this is the one I make too, although I don't put cheese in, just sunflower seeds on top, and into a cold oven. Turn on, and it takes 30 mins. So easy.

I don't want to derail...but as I've become fond of the people who post on this thread & trust their judgement...may I ask a question, knowing I'll get an honest reply. Why is there some snobbery between those with Type 1 & Type 2's? I've witnessed some terribly hurtful, unkind & condescending comments which have shocked me. However we came to have this disease, surely we all should be sympathetic & supportive towards one another's mutual condition.
