4.2 for me this morning.

What a lovely day we have today? I have everything I can open to let the air circulate nicely. I love fresh air.

Today I've been fiddling with our home networking arrangements, and I think I've just about got them where I want them. Well, I do need to add a further access point in an area of the house diagonally opposite where the router sits in the house. Of course, the proper test will be a bit later when Mr B connects from afar. That can be a bit of a challenge, and I always have to have a quick revert plan available when I meddle like this, as he can get a bit grumpy if I cut off his toys.

Now I just have to work out why 2 monitors no longer work, whatever I connect to them. I can understand one going belly up, but both at the same time? That's the sort of coincidence I don't believe it.

Play nicely folks. Have a great day, and try to grab some fresh air. It lifts the mood so well.

Not long to go before your holiday I think? Hope it's a good one!

Thanks PT. Should finish work tomorrow night (not predicting the time) then we're off on Thursday morning. Staying in Harrogate Thursday night, breakfast in Betty's, hopefully catch up with friends then off to Northumberland for two weeks. Can't wait.

Ok, the results are in from Fridays bloods. 7 weeks post diagnosis

Hba1c 42
Cholesterol total 4.4
HDL 1.3
LDL 2.8
Trig 0.6

Resting heart rate 54 bpm
BP 121 / 65

First education class was ok. Informative if you had decided not to educate yourself but nothing I did not know already. Next weeks fight with the dietician will be interesting.
Strangely they told me I was using
The wrong diabetes website and should use diabetes.uk.org ????

Love betty's. ; )

I've heard about this Betty. Could be dangerous if I was coming with you!

Enjoy xxxx

Late dinner, very tired, quite stressed - three negative factors for the price of one, 6.7

Holiday tomorrow though so it will go down again fairly quickly I'm sure.

5.2 again. Late dinner at 10pm post another game of football. 3 games in 3 days, I am way too old for that! Will be glad to get back on the bike today instead.

6.0 this morning and am happy with that....they say biking is good for you I find it hurts my knees so will stick to walking ...laughs

I agree. I noticed my stress level and anxiety disappear once I finished work. I'm back tomorrow and the children will be back Monday so I'll be interested to see what happens!

Once again, have a great holiday. I've never been to Northumberland but often wondered about visiting. Post some photos if you can .

Have a super holiday Rod.

5.8 ( or 5.3) after being rudely awoken by phone at 9.20 am- I am not a morning person!!!

Will do. Another issue is that our car was damaged yesterday by someone running up the back of it. Brilliant . Nobody hurt which is the main thing, but could really do without the hassle. So we get a replacement car through the other party's insurers and use that on holiday while ours is in the body shop being fixed.

Always the way- at least no one hurt and they've given you a replacement car. Enjoy the holidays. Whereabouts in Northumberland? I can recommend Bamburgh as a nice day out- and Lindisfarne.
