@Debmcgee Thanks for the support
Two cups a day is never going to happen .We have decaf coffee but I'm not a coffee drinker .May have to swap a fewI'm eating full fat mayo and yep i test before bed ...bg's usually lower than when I wake. The way this is going I may live more years but it will be a miserable life .*sigh*
Not your post Deb getting me down ...just feeling peed off and angry because the Metformin is making me run to the loo and I feel nauseous almost constantly .
Think I'm going to ditch ALL my meds .I want a life ...not an existence!
Careful what you wish for@Susiespearish ! When you've mastered your eating/drinking and brought your bs down, you may find that a reduction in meds is possible. I've gradually taken myself off all my strong meds without even realising it. just by adopting the LCHF lifestyle The last to go was co-codamol two weeks ago and I can't believe I'm walking around pain free for the first time in years. I'm not suggesting everyone can give up their meds but I really do believe our diet is responsible for a lot of our ailments and once its addressed, there can be beneficial effect with other conditions.
I'm now only taking Metformin and have never had any ill-effects from it, but I have the slow release and built up to maximum dose gradually, over several weeks, under supervision from the pharmacist and my DN. Do you take the slow release?
