Type 2's: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning?

8.3 and got weighed put 2 1/2 pounds on grrrrr

4.8 fasting
 
4.3 this morning, which is the lowest for me for some time. Not quite sure why it was so good, as I was at 5.3 only 3 days ago. Off to see the DN this morning to review recent(ish) blood tests from 29th September, this was the first appointment I could get! Should all be good as my HbA1C was 34, and everything going pretty well.

3.8 this morning, my fasting range seems to have dropped a notch overall recently.

Hope you feel better soon. I am sure pain is to blame for your increased glucose levels. Are you still on the bulletproof coffee and do you think that has something to do with your pain and troubled sleep lately?

6 fasting this morning,been awake since 5am for no reason.

I saw that it caused you to skip meals as well so I was wondering whether it was a good idea both nutritionally and from the point of view of trying to stop weight loss. You did enjoy it though!
 

Yes it drives me bonkers too. It may be because my fasting hours are between 12 and 14 as I eat early at around 6pm and don't have anything except peppermint tea at bedtime or coffee with cream in the evening, but I haven't yet conditioned myself to snacking in the evening to shorten the fasting period.

I have an open mind about the liver scan. At worst it might show some liver damage caused by the methotrexate. It would just be helpful to solve the mystery

I can't put a "like" on here alliebee, because I don't like it for you! Hope you can have a rest today and get on top of your pain .
 
5.4 for me today......today is my eldest daughters 19th birthday so having thoughts of 19 years ago and the realisation that she is 20 next year, where did that go??!! Younger will be 16 in August.....another young lady now, still, also means it's my time now too
