Type 2's: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning?

6.1 bedtime
6.9 fasting

Off to see GP this morning for results of my liver ultrasound....
 
Not much sunshine today in Cyprus





Rain and hail in buckets.

Luckily I had time to complete my morning walk first.

5.5 my normal pre breakfast range, did my pay bar test last night rather pleased, for the last 6 months have had a pay bar 3 times in the evening as a snack , 1st time reading 2 hours after was 9.8 , 2 months later 8.7' last night 7.8.

Hopefully this might show things are going in the right direction.

Oh and I guess I should note that last nights reading 2hrs before was 7.2 which was 2 hours after a simple dinner which consisted of 2 yes I did say 2 slices of Bergen bread sandwich with cheese and a nice big slice of raw onion.

I am currently trying to increase carbs in preparation for the festive season, we shall see how it goes.

Wet dark morning here in Manchester but really don't care my team are now 3rd in the league.

5.2 before dinner
5.6 after 1 hour as another late dinner
6.0 fasting which is first time I got this figure since I controlled my bg's but I did not wash my hands but I did not bother retesting either.
 
4.7 don't know why dont know how after I was at 8.9 last night!
 
I guess you are never too old to live a new experience.

After trying for an hour to find a route to get to work I just gave up and returned home.

Our roads have turned to rivers and there are stalled cars everywhere.



You can see the bonnet of my car bottom left of this picture. I drive quite a tall SUV!





The black Mercedes C class in this photo was actually floating on the water. It could be seen moving up and down like s boat on the waves or a piece of driftwood.

I think I will stay warm and dry at home for a while and try again this afternoon.

We don't often do rain in Cyprus but when we do....
