LOve the determination in your language. You'll have no problems! Thanks. I have a previous though as I lost about 15kg back in 2003 by adopting a <20g per day low carb diet and running. Back then I wasn't diabetic though. This time round going for a <100g per day carb diet coupled with running. My battle is to try and maintain whatever I achieve over the next 12 months.
I'd been thinking of suggesting changing your GP 're the reluctance to accept fibromyalgia but if also useless 're diabetes then defo go for it.... My eldest daughter finally plucked up courage to approach GP 're panic attacks and fibromyalgia. Got to see him same day and he's been great so far...hope your new one is the sameI know Metformin can cause lactic acid build up and part of fibro is thought to be too much or too much sensitivity to lactic acid in muscle tissues.
It is implicated in panic disorder as well which I also have and if has been far worse a few hours after taking each dose. I was ok on one, ok on two but started feeling rubbish on three. Went down to two which was better for a bit bit now I just think I have so much of it sloshing in my system that I never get a break from it. I've lost over 4st so don't think I need such a high dose but I have my HbA1c in January so will see then and hopefully sort it out with GP. If not I'll be changing GP and/or practice as can't say I've had much support from my surgery with either the fibro or diabetes.
Welcome Dave. Are those good figures for you? Or is is it too early days yet..... Plenty friendly support on here too
It is quite early days so I'm making dietary mistakes left right and centre, The 11.3 was the result of a baked potato and cheesy beans.
Of the 3 days I've been recording the figures they have been 10.0, 7.9 and 8.0.

Don't worry, we've all been there. Read all the info on the website for the "basics" then join forum threads like this one and join us on the "shop floor" where the real 'management' takes placeIt is quite early days so I'm making dietary mistakes left right and centre, The 11.3 was the result of a baked potato and cheesy beans.
