Type 2's: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning?

5,9 mmol this morning after sister in law's surprise birthday party last night.

No walk or tennis this morning as it is raining steadily, which probably is just as well as nursing a sore head from a bit too much red wine last night!

5.9 this morning all those festive naughties are beginning to show ! Back on the wagon today as I feel full and bloated after too any carbs over the last 2 days
 
Morning rain is really frustrating me as I actually feel like going on a walk.



The above photo of my garden, taken earlier from the sheltered comfort of our back room, probably gives the wrong impression of how dreary the day really is - far too much color in it.

So I exploited a momentary respite in the rain to shoot this much more representative shot.



Grey on grey - definitely not my favorite color.

Feeling grumpy and going back to bed.

Not like you to be feeling grumpy Pavlos :-(. Hope you wake up again in better mood . We've got frost after going to bed wth hammering down rain
 
5.9 this morning. Don't test a lot at bedtime but when I have seem to be finding that a lower bedtime gives rise to higher morning and vice-versa....
 
4.7 no retest just accepting even though it lower than my usual fives.

Off to the theatre today then dinner in an Argentinean restaurant

Last 3 days....4.6, 4.6, 4.8 even had apple crumble and custard again after dinner. 2 hours after brekkie and walk have been 4.5 and 4.8 lets see what today brings. Have a great weekend ALL

6 today which is ok given I had enough turkey last night to feed a small army and woke up at. 2.20 thinking there was a burglar in the house - it was 'Mr E making a drink aS he has man flu.

What!! Mr E was up at 2am making a drink cos he has Man Flu............................that's ridiculous, I've never heard anything like it

You should have been making it for him
