Wonder if I can use it with my Contour Next..... But out of curiosity rather than real need. Will find out how I'm doing when I see practice nurse for my bloods results.
So its not something that should give you a figure between x and y (being numbers 15% above and below a centre line z). Put that way, yes, I guess it is useless........What will it tell you though? It's just a solution of unknown value somewhere in the tolerance range of the meter. I had an email conversation with the manufacturers asking why they can't just supply a standard solution of known value for calibration purposes, they said it wasn't possible for all practical purposes. In my view the test solutions are pointless and useless.
