Good for security glazing3.8 for me this morning - pretty much in the middle of my personal 3.5 - 4.5 fasting range.
It's a lovely morning here on Planet Breathe, after 36 hours of extremely blustery winds. I went out yesterday afternoon to check roofs, fences and so on, to find a huge sheet of perspex about 5mm thick against the outside of the back perimeter wall. I have absolutely no idea where that has come from, as we don't have anything perspex and our only neighbour doesn't either. Somebody, somewhere is missing that. I've propped it up to the wall, and will leave it there for a few days, then dispose of it. At our other place we have some lovely driftwood pieces which have been gifts of storms. I doubt somehow I could utilise the perspex in a similar way!
Good for you girl. I love it when I read about people coming of meds and I'm looking forward to the day when I can post the same.Spot on 5 this morning- bedtime was 4.9 so I'm ok with that thank you!

Really? Wow... I always used to have it with honey and warm water every morning but stopped as I was worried about the spike...I tested today and it's less than 2 so will start taking it again now...6.6 now that is FIRST I am pleased and it is due to taking apple cider vinegar with cheese for my supper, I read about this and thought I would try it, it appears to work....smiles
Crumbs... I hope they do something to help today girl... It's dragging on a bit...7.2 this morning after a rough night coughing. Still whezzy :-|. See what happens later.

You're going to be doing an awful lot of "popping"Thank you Adrian just over six months since diagnosed so I guess I've really kicked a**e!! Heard good things of it for arthritis too tho never tried it. Sounds horrible6.6 now that is FIRST I am pleased and it is due to taking apple cider vinegar with cheese for my supper, I read about this and thought I would try it, it appears to work....smiles
Sorry to hear that. Hope you improve as day goes on.7.2 this morning after a rough night coughing. Still whezzy :-|. See what happens later.
I put two tablespoons of it into 1 oz of cheese and could not taste it as I thought the same as you....but on another forum they going on about one should not try these things when on insulin how are we going to know if things work if we do not try them I ask????Heard good things of it for arthritis too tho never tried it. Sounds horrible
The chocolate thing - shows how important the portion size is too. I'm betting that many of us could eat chocolate in those amounts, especially between meals. I know I can (but remembering we are all different). But how many of us pre-diagnosis would only have eaten TWO squares as a treat? I've found that some main meals followed immediately by desert WILL spike me for sure. Either, by themselves, will NOT. Verified by testing with a 2 hour gap I can have both as sort-of part of same meal......
5.3 this morning after the pizza slices and miranda fizzy drink last night....even had two squares of dark chocolate....with my lemon tea

An observation rather than recommendation - still need to watch those calories too - I'm still 13 stone but not doing VLCHF
