8.1 - VERY unhappy. Had a great day yesterday, low carbs, low sugar, low everything!!!

5.4 this morning after all my shock yesterday.

Went to bed 5.8, woke up 6.8, so something isn't right...

Will try figure out over weekend if it's DP or too low basal - need to have this infection all out of the way too first, I think.

Booh, though.

hi Mileana

My endocrinologist has always advised me that the trick is to go to bed on 7 or higher and then you get a better number in the mornings and hopefully avoid your BGLs dropping too low during the night. Sometimes it works a treat for me... other times I have a hypo. Nothing is ever simple with diabetes.

15.5 so coming down again. I think it MAY have gone up because we ran out of decaff coffee and I was on fully leaded for a couple of days. Time will tell.

5.7 Wednesday, 5.8 Thursday. No idea why :***: . 5.1 this morning - very relieved!

5.4 this morning, which is fantastic. I had a lovely piece of cake and two apples to celebrate my lovely new hba1c. I had better behave now though.

Going to bed with it above 7 would mean that I have to eat to get my bloodsugar above the level that I would otherwise not normally see it during the whole day.

If I don't do something stupid (which does happen), I hardly ever have blood sugars over 6.5.

I'll have to do something strange like an icecube with a string in it holding a bucket or water which will drop on me after 2-3 hours of sleep, lol, because no amount of alarms can wake me up around that time...
