Lets hope so got to test 2hrs after meals and keep a food diary for a couple of weeks till i see consultant.It maybe that they defied to out you on some diabetic meds while you are on high doses of steroids, hopefully they can get everything on a better keel for you soon x
More good news for me.
Firstly, my free box of 10 tubs arrived after lunch. Batch ending 61.
lunch + 2hrs with batch 44 was 7.3 (ridiculous figure. I only had an egg and tom salad and cup of tea.)
lunch + 2hrs with new batch 6.3 (expected)
Secondly, I had another email from Homehealth. They want me to return 2 of my unused batch 44 tubs, will pay the postage, will replace them, and will analyse them and let me know the result.
I call that a result!
Yes, both box and tubs say 61. Phew!
Great news7.9 this morning!!! After months of being on gliclazide and watching my fasting raise to over 15+ this is a huge achievement. Been on insulin just over a week

So sad to hear that. Glad you have a good bunch of housemates to talk things thru with6.7 for me this morning... Its my own fault I needed some comfort food last night. My boss called me at 7:30pm to say that his Mother had passed away, and it was all action stations to get him flights back to Spain and to make all the necessary arrangements and changes to his calender etc. So by about 10pm when it was all done, I suddenly found myself thinking about my parents and my boss and I was feeling really sad and in need of something comforting... so it was either white toast and butter or Rich Tea biscuits - I went with a cup of tea and biscuits... I'm not really sure I enjoyed them, but curling up on the sofa with a hot mug of tea and my housemates eating biscuits and talking until late kind of helped......
Result! Fingers crossedVery annoying and frustrating and head banging. At least Homehealth have sent me a packet of 10 new tubs for free, due to arrive today, which was very kind of them. Hopefully the new batch will be back to normal.

Maybe, have some bowel issues at the mo, I am anaemic the mo, on iron tabs and the last time this happened I was bleeding from my bowel.Couldn't say Eddie, trouble ahead? Uncertainty? I was dreaming about eating a bread roll with loads of butter on it! :grin:
I like all seasons but I actually find Autumn the most colourful time of year especially for photography.It feels like spring is just round the corner, can't waite.
I think spring is the best time of year, I miss Hampshire in the spring
