Type 2's: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning?

5.0 this morning - much better than yesterday's 5.9 and the signs are that I am in ketosis thanks to my low cal and low carb diet because yesterday and this morning I had/have no hunger pangs and no lack of energy. skipped breakfast and only had a 100 calorie lunch so managed to do 500 calories for the day. If I keep this up I may be able to re-coup some of the weight loss I didn't achieve last week...

We call guys from WA "sandgropers". Strange breed, but then the states all have their bias issues

My logic is if I'm not hungry and feeling fine then no need to have a meal. Might have a stick of celery or some salad though. I didn't feel the need for lunch yesterday but had 100 calories worth of home made mayo and celery (not home made ). Had a proper 400 calorie meal of fried steak in a mushroom and cream sauce and veggies for supper

You would never believe what state rivalries are down here Kim. Cross the border and it's amazing.
 
6.1 and sunny and frosty here in Wiltshire....
 
4.8 this morning so it looks like my ultra low carb day yesterday (11g) successfully banished the remains of the Pizza slice I had on Sunday (I was higher than normal all day yesterday though - Pizza is the work of the devil!)
