Type 3 c

Hi just been informed by my doctor that despite being treated for type 2 for the last 14 years I have actually got type 3c and the Fenofibrate I was prescribed might well of made it worse!
Anyone else had this ?
 
Don’t know anything about Fenofibrate, so can’t comment on that, but unfortunately I can believe that type 3c was not recognised. How did you get type 3c? I was treated as type 2 for a decade despite having been sent to A&E twice with ketoacidosis following a routine procedure to remove bile duct blockage going wrong and ending in intensive care with septic shock and acute pancreatitis. There just isn’t the expertise in the Trust where I live, and no desire to send you out of Trust.
