Ah well thought I would drop a line , I was Diagnosed in March with Type II a few weeks before my Birthday and its the best present I have ever had its completely changed my life and my quality of life is now 10 times better ..
My BG level on Diag was 15.4 and Ive never been above 8 since(my BG meter Gives my AVG as 4.3) ok the Meds can be a bit of a pain and make me feel sick for a bit here and there , and yes I have seriously cold hands and feet , but that's all I can complain about ..
So its not all doom and gloom
, Since I was Diagnosed I have started to look at what I eat how I eat and when I eat , and I can proudly say in March I was 127Kg and today I'm 81.7KG , Ive taken up cycling again and intend to start jogging in the newyear I feel alive full of beans 90% of the time , I sleep through the night I don't hardly have any headaches not had a nose bleed and my gums don't bleed when I brush my teeth, with the money Ive saved not buying loads of sweets crisps and junk food Ive bought a £900 bike , I would have eaten that £900 last year ..
I'm going for my Diabetic Clinic review on Wednesday and I cant wait just want to make sure I'm not lacking in anything or do anything wrong..
It really has changed my life , for the better he few bad points the feet and hands being extremely cold and what I mentioned above don't even taint the good things
So anybody out there recently Diagnosed its doesn't have to be a life sentence , it can be a good thing a blessing in disguise
