Type Lada 1.5

Hi. I understand I should have received a letter advising me to stay at home for 12 weeks. I have contacted my GP surgery who have advised I have Lada and therefore do no fit into the type 1 category whats more they have my record as type 2 diabetic. My hospital Team have advised the GP has all the info they need in respect of my diagnosis 5 years ago. I work in an outpatients department and am worried if I should be at work? How can get clarification? I've already spoken to my GP surgery 3 times and the hospital team twice

We will not receive letters simply because we are T1's - this 'privilidge' is being resrved for people with serious conditions like kidney disease and those taking immuno suppressing medication like transplant patients.

You can go to work but should try to maintain social distancing. Your employer has a responsibility to make this possible for you, not just to protect yourself, but also to prevent you from passing Covid on to patients.
