Hi everyone. I'm new here but looking for some help and advice. I'm a 31 year old man, was diagnosed with type one 10 years ago. Struggled for a lot of those years with my diabetes as I just didn't want to deal with it. Got it back on track however and I'm doing great. Probably around 18 months ago I started noticing problems with my erections. They weren't lasting as long and weren't as strong as usual and over time it got worse. Fast forward to now and I haven't managed to have full sex for over a year (not for the lack of trying!). Spoke to the GP numerous times and asked them to check my testosterone levels which came back ok. Was prescribed different dosages of viagra which done absolutely nothing for me. Then was prescribed cialis, which again, done nothing. I'm not really sure where to turn now. Not due to see my diabetes specialist Dr till February 2022. Asked gp for a referral to urology but said this will take a while. I really don't know what to do now as I'm far too young to not be having sex! I still get the urge just as I always have but the little guy isn't playing ball! I have nerve damage in my legs which could be playing a factor. Any and all advice would be massively appreciated. Thanks so much for reading.
