Hi a quick question on low treatment on lchf diet.
I was low yesterday and wanted to avoid a carb fest which would knock me out of ketosis completely (assuming I was in it). Since I started pumping I have always had a little less sugar or whatever I chose to treat lows, so will continue to try to avoid overdoing the glucose and jelly babies, but wondered about other lchf-ers experiences and recommendations.

Another related question is how to deal with exercise on lchf.

Any thoughts welcome... Thanks

Hi mojo . . .

I'm a committed LCHFer and I use Dextro-Energy Minis . . . I won't post a link because I guess that would be advertising . . . but a Google search quickly finds this product and some pictures . . .

I find these far-and-away the most useful things for dealing with a low . . . they come in a small flip-top box which is really easy to open, and for me the maths is very easy . . . each tablet will raise my level by 10mg/dl (0.55mmol/l).

Not sure about the availability of these in the UK, though. Apologies if you can't get them in UK.

Regards,
Antony
