Before I was diagnosed in October, I was in a pretty healthy routine, gym 3/4 times a week, since diagnosis I haven't been at all... I'm a bit worried about the fact that the injections hurt less and are more efficient in fatty tissue, anyone got any hints or guidance on how tone up n loose weight, without the injections hurting... :S

Use smaller needles, don't use dull needles, and squeeze around the injection site to ensure you don't hit a muscle.

Scientifically, women need more body fat than men so this sounds like an issue with how you're injecting rather than worrying about your body fat being too low.

As a side note, I actually prefer 5mm needles rather than 4mm because the 4mm are too short. I found myself pressing to hard with 4mm needles (to avoid a lump) which increased the likelihood of hitting a muscle.

I do everything you said, I use 5mm, fresh ones everytime. And I always squeeze the skin around the injection. :S sometimes it just stings, other times I have to double check it's in as I can't feel anything haha guess it's just pot luck as to whether it's going to hurt or not :S
