Been a diabetic type 1 for 10 years now. Got to say im not happy with my doctor. I know I have some health issue's but my Dr says be patient. . You know there's something wrong with you but the system is slow. Also I'm allergic to statins but my CK range from 300 to 16000. Can anyone shed some light on this.

Hi @Odin19 ,

Welcome to the forums.

It's not my intention to scare you but high Creatine Kinase levels may indicate muscle damage, or even heart damage.

Reference Values
help-16.gif

Males

6-11 years: 150-499 U/L

12-17 years: 94-499 U/L

> or =18 years: 52-336 U/L

Females

6-7 years: 134-391 U/L

8-14 years: 91-391 U/L

15-17 years: 53-269 U/L

> or =18 years: 38-176 U/L

Reference values have not been established for patients that are less than 6 years of age.

Note: Strenuous exercise or intramuscular injections may cause transient elevation of CK.

You can see from the reference figures that you could still be below the top limit . Wait and see what your doc says before jumping to conclusions.
