Hi my son was diagnosed 9mths ago and he has an under active thyroid as well and he is going to secondary school in August. He is frightened of what people will think of him. We try hard to make sure things are okay. I went to the school and found out where he can inject and where his hypo box is going to be kept and he has had a few visits to the school so he can now relaxe a bit.
