Ulcer smell

Hi, in june i found a rather large hole on the sole of my left foot - went to the dr's, the podiatrists etc. all pretty normal stuff. the ulcer is slowly getting smaller - but the smell isnt nice. Somedays it smells a bit like a farm, others like gone off food. - it looks clean and there is no puss.

any experience with this?? my last ulcer didnt smell but it was a lot smaller. my first one ended up with having an amputation

Please contact your medical team about this. It may something as simple as sweaty feet ..but not worth taking any chances

Ditto Enclave. Your ulcer (stinky feet aside) should not smell if it is healing properly. Sometimes, infection can be deeper than what is visible to the eye and that may be what you are smelling.
