Hi there,

Im new to this forum but wondered if anybody would like to help me.

Im currently studying product design at university and have myself been a diabetic for about 9 years.

For my major project i will be doing a combi-pen for diabetics.
This basically will be a product that combines an insulin pen, blood monitor, finger pricker and maybe bloodstick storage all in one small product.

My main aim is to get this product as small as possible, so its easily pocket size. basically its aimed at people like myself would want the device very small and out of the way. i personally find it a pain when "going out for the night" and not being able to take everything with me without stuffing my pockets full. i will also be looking alot into how to make the process as quick and easy as possible without having to mess about with to many parts like needles, needles caps etc..
The main aim is the size so exchanging features and functions for making it smaller and more practical may result.

However i would like to see other poeples opinions about this as part of my user research:

- Is it something you would find usefull?
-What else would you like from a product like this?
-Any other features and functions you would recommend?
-what do you find gets annoying with any current products?

Anything you would like to see or any thoughts of your own would be great help.

Thanks

Ross
