Hi all,

My name is Matt Imlah, I'm currently in my 2nd year at Northumbria University studying Design for Industry. I have been set a piece of work on 'Playfulness' which looks into changing how someone interacts with a situation or an object so that it isn't a task and more enjoyable to do. I have been looking into the health care sector and particularly Diabetes in children, and was hoping to find out anyone's first hand experience of coping with Diabetes whether it's checking your blood levels regularly, injecting insulin or just coping with diabetes in general and if in anyway you feel that the experience could be improved in anyway.

Thank you for your time,
Matt Imlah.

Hi Matt
One thing that I think could be better for children especially the fairly young is the meters and strips etc are plain boring, I know you can get skins for some meters but everything else needs to be brightened up.
If you can get Disney and Pixar toothpaste and toothbrushes why can't you get them on diabetes stuff.
Minions are on everything, never seen a Minnions meter.
